We are excited to announce the sale of CommunityViz and CViz Pro Software to the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension effectively immediately.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension is a long-time user of CommunityViz software operating at the leading edge of scenario planning, coastal resilience preparedness, and sustainable community planning and development.  Their Community Health and Resource Management (CHARM) Program alone has provided thousands of people with the opportunity to map and analyze urban growth patterns throughout the United States and their vulnerabilities to natural disasters.  Their investment in the software, and the resources they bring to support it from the entire Texas A&M University System, will benefit CommunityViz customers for years to come.  Everyone should expect big things as they continue to improve the two products ― especially the ideas they have shared with us about the direction and full release of CViz Pro.

More information about the Extension’s vision, available resources, and targets for releasing new versions of the software will be shared in the coming weeks and months.  For now, we ask for your patience over the next week or so as we transfer everything related to the software to the team at Texas A&M University.  You can always get the latest information about CommunityViz from their website: www.communityviz.com.

CEI will also continue to be a power user of CommunityViz and CViz Pro software.  It will remain an important scenario planning and impacts analysis tool for our work as we help our clients plan, measure, and evaluate topics important to the future of cities, counties, and regions throughout the United States.

We very proud of our time at the helm of CommunityViz and CViz Pro software and appreciate your faith and commitment to the product as we used it to complete our project work together.  It has been an amazing six years!  Join us in wishing luck and good fortune to the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.  We cannot wait to see where they take things next.
